What customers ask most about the stainless-steel adjustable coolant tube.
How is a stainless-steel adjustable tube different from a plastic one?
The elements are machined from SUS303 stainless steel: heat- and corrosion-resistant, rigid and wear-resistant, rated to 100 bar. Once aimed, the nozzle stays put under pressure and heat, whereas plastic segmented hose tends to deform, sag or pop apart at high pressure, high temperature or with neat cutting oil.
What is the pressure rating? Can it be used with high-pressure coolant?
It withstands 100 bar, so it pairs with high-pressure systems such as our high-pressure plunger coolant pump (70 bar) for external chip flushing and cooling.
How is it assembled? What parts are there?
Base adapter (PT 1/8" or PT 1/4"; straight, 45° or 90° L-type, long or short) + elements (standard 21.5 mm, 75.5 mm extension, 90° element, double-ball adapter) + nozzle. All joints are M14 × P1.0, so length, angle and direction adjust freely. Distributors can cover most needs with just a handful of part numbers.
Which nozzles are available?
